Conceptual Leaflet Assignment
A poster and layout project from my Noroff studies, exploring bold typography, strong compositions, and experimental design approaches to strengthen my visual communication skills.
Year :
2023
Industry :
Graphic Design
Client :
University Assignment
Project Duration :
4 weeks

Problem :
This project required exploring visual communication through experimental poster and layout design. The challenge was to produce designs that not only looked striking but also conveyed a clear message and functioned across both print and digital applications.
Solution :
I created a series of posters using bold typography, strong color contrasts, and clean compositions. Each design emphasized hierarchy and legibility, while still pushing creative boundaries with playful layouts. Mockups were used to show the designs in real-world contexts like walls and magazines, reinforcing their practical application.

Challenge :
The main challenge was balancing experimentation with usability. It was easy to create something visually engaging, but the real test was making sure the message was still clear and adaptable for different formats. Adjusting scale, type sizes, and spacing became critical in refining the designs.

Summary :
Graphic Design 4 became an exercise in combining creativity with clarity. The final works show an ability to experiment with visual language while still maintaining professional standards, resulting in a portfolio section that highlights both design skill and problem-solving.
